Craig De Witt, Psy.D., FLP

I am a Fully Licensed Psychologist practicing since 1987 and practicing in Grand Rapids since 1995. In addition to working with children, adolescents and adults, I have worked extensively with couples and families that are experiencing difficulties. Due to my experience with couples and families struggling through the divorce process I decided to become trained in the collaborative divorce process 4 years ago. I am a member of Collaborative Practice Institute of Michigan and am currently serving on the leadership team of the Grand Rapids Collaborative Divorce practice group. I am a divorce coach in the collaborative divorce process, providing emotional support, helping couples learn to communicate their needs and concerns in a healthy manner. I enjoy helping divorcing couples reduce the stress they experience during the divorce process and assisting them to strengthen their co-parenting skills when children are involved.

I am a partner at Psychology Associates of Grand Rapids, PC which is a group practice comprised of over 30 mental health professionals. I grew up in the West Michigan area and attended Calvin College where I received my Bachelor degree in 1981. Upon graduating from Calvin I attended Rosemead Graduate School in California and earned my doctoral degree in Psychology. I spent 9 years in Baltimore, MD in a private practice setting. I treated a wide variety of clients and also served as the Clinical Director of a group agency until I returned to Grand Rapids in 1995. I have been married to my wife Sher since 1981 and we have four children.
